Assistant Coach Ryan Pulis spoke with HFC Media on Sunday’s clash against Birkirkara FC after a victory in the last outing of the BOV Premier League against Gudja United F.C.

 

“Overall our performance during this season was a good one. I believe that everyone gave his 100%,” Pulis told HFC Media.

 

“But our work is not ready yet. We have to stay focused until the end because until now, the race is still not finished,” he continued.

 

This Sunday, we face the team of Birkirkara, who currently lie in the 3rd place of the BOV Premier League. In the first two rounds we have drawn the Stripes 1-1 and lost the other match 3-2.

 

“The next match against Birkirkara is a very difficult game. They have a very organized squad and very good individuals,” the Assistant Coach said.

 

“Birkirkara gave us one of the only two defeats so far, so we have to prepare for this game in the best possible way.”

 

Ryan also sends his message to our fans to continue supporting the team throughout the final two matches of the season.

 

“I urge our fans to come and support us in this very important game. During this journey, you were always behind us. In this crucial moment of the season, we need you in high numbers and to be the 12th player on the pitch.”
