Ivorian midfielder Ali Diakité spoke with HFC Media about the next match against Ħamrun Spartans which will take place on Monday at the National Stadium. Kickoff at 5pm.
“The truth is that against Floriana, we saw another level of this team,” Ali told HFC Media, when asked about the positive performance of the last match against Floriana.
“We have shown that we are still here and alive, but now we have to think about the next match,” he continued.
On Monday, we face current BOV Premier League Champions Ħamrun Spartans. The first two matches saw us winning the first one 1-0 and drawing the second one in a goalless draw.
“Ħamrun are a good team. They are a difficult rival which have very good players,” the Ivorian midfielder said.
“But we have our philosophy of playing and we are not going to change that. We are well prepared for this game. It is true that it makes it a bit difficult that some teammates are missing due to international selection, but with the help of god we are ready.”
