Unity is strength says Club Captain Bjorn Kristensen

After a great win against Ħamrun Spartans, HFC Media interviewed captain Bjorn Kristensen and took his comments about the last match and the upcoming one.

“The atmosphere at our club after beating Ħamrun Spartans is very good, but we have to keep our feet on the ground”, said our captain when asked about the Ħamrun match.

“We have still done nothing yet. We look forward step by step together as a team”, he continued.

This Sunday, we face another tough opponent, which are Balzan FC who currently lie in the 3rd place of the BOV Premier League.

“Sunday’s opponents, Balzan, are a very good side. They have quality players in every department and the change of their manager helped them both tactically and mentally”, Bjorn said.

“It will not be an easy match. No matches will be easy this season.”

When asked about how the team is preparing for this match, the 28 year old midfielder said:

“With the inclusion of more foreigners in our league, every team will be a tough competitor. But we are preparing for this match as we prepare for any other match.”

“We have to stay concentrated in every thing that we do and we have to stay united as a team. That is our strength this season.”

Our captain as always send his gratitude to our fans and encourage them to continue supporting the team.

“I would like to thank our fans for being there for us in every battle that we have. Whether we win or lose.”

“There are many matches left until the end of season and I hope that you stay with us until the end. You are our strength when things aren’t going our way during matches. Your voice is our energy”, he ended.
