Hibernians Football Club announce the appointment of Silvio Vella as their new Head Coach.

Silvio brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously played and captained Hibernians FC, winning the Championship as a player in 1994/95 and 2001/02 seasons. Later he started his coaching career at Rabat Ajax FC and eventually was appointed as the Malta U21 team coach.

The club would like to thank the Malta Football Association for their understanding and support in making this move possible.

Whilst wishing Silvio the best of luck for the future, hopefully we will be back on track to achieve our goals in achieving UEFA participation by the end of this season.
