Marsaxlokk secured fourth place thanks to a 2-0 win over Hibernians at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.

 

The Southseasiders, in fact, moved nine points clear of Hibernians and Birkirkara. The Stripes, however, have a game in hand.

 

Following a goalless first half, Marsaxlokk took the lead eight minutes in the second half thanks to Karl Micallef.

 

Nikolai Muscat sealed the issue with a penalty one minute in added time.
