28 year-old Lithuanian 
international forward Karolis Laukžemis has officially signed for Hibernians FC 
.
Karolis started his career at Lithuanian club FK Atlantas, with later on moving to FK Klaipėdos granitas and FK Sūduva, both from the same nation. In 2016, Laukžemis spent a 1-year loan at Latvian 
club FK Jelgava. In the recent years, he was playing in the top division of Croatia 
with NK Istra 1961.
The prolific forward is also part of the Lithuanian National Team and scored 2 goals 
in 15 matches since 2018. The most recent goal was scored on 11th October 2020 in a match against Belarus 
from the UEFA Nations League.
