Left full back Joseph Zerafa spoke with HFC Media on Saturday’s clash against Balzan F.C. after a draw in the last outing of the BOV Premier League against current Champions Ħamrun Spartans.

 

“Will all the difficulties that we encountered in the last match, we showed that whoever we play, we are still the best team in my opinion,” Zerafa told HFC Media.

 

“We have to be more clinical against our opponents, because we are dropping points ourselves, and that’s the only current difference between us and Floriana,” he continued.

 

This Saturday, we face the team of Balzan, who currently lie in the 10th place of the BOV Premier League. In the first round we have beaten the reds with a score of 2-1.

 

“This Saturday, we have a crucial match to keep the pace with Floriana,” the Maltese defender said.

 

“Next week, we want the match against Floriana to be the match that we return to the top of the Premier League table, where we belong.”

 

Joseph also sends his message to our fans to continue supporting the team throughout the final matches of the season.

 

“I would like to encourage all the Paolites to stay behind the team because I really believe that we are the best team in the league. We want to show that we are not only the best on the pitch, but also holistically.”
