On Friday, FIFA President Gianni Infantino honoured the club by visiting the Tony Bezzina Stadium. Mr. Infantino who was accompanied by MFA President Mr. Bjorn Vassallo was greeted by Hibernians President Mr. Ranier Bezzina, Vice President Mr. Alex Montebello and Stadium Manager Mr. Jesmond Abela. During his visit, Mr. Infantino had the opportunity to witness first hand the infrustructural works currently being carried out at the stadium. The MFA president explained that Government funding and backing was vital if we want to upgrade the existing football grounds and pitches on the island. Mr. Ranier Bezzina said he wanted to take the opportunity to thank all those involved, in making the upgrading of the pitches possible.
