Degabriele speaks ahead of Valletta match

With a few days left for our clash with Valletta FC, 25 year old forward Jurgen Degabriele spoke with HFC Media on the current positive run of the team and on the upcoming match with our rivals.

‘’We have started the season very well. We had a very good run in the UEFA Europa Conference League and we were very unlucky not to continue advancing in the competition,” Degabriele said.

“But the season has just started and it is still a long way to go”.

With 4 goals scored, Jurgen is now the club’s joint top scorer with Jake Grech. Jurgen also told us how the team is preparing mentally for the upcoming match.

“For next Sunday’s match against Valletta, we are preparing in the same way as we prepare for other matches. Nothing less, nothing more. A huge three points are at stake and we will do our best to take them all and win the game.”

In the end of the interview, Jurgen sent a message for all the Hibs fans to continue being the 12th man in the stadium.

“My message for our fans is to continue supporting us, not only next Sunday, but in every single match of the season. We really need the push from our fans for every battle throughout the season. We would like to see the number of fans increasing every match, so that in the end we will try to reach our target,” Degabriele told HFC Media.
