Hibernians FC and the Bezzina family would like to express their gratitude towards the Paola Local Council after they reached an agreement for the proposed Paola Hill garden project to be named after the late Mr. Anthony Bezzina, Club President.

Moreover, heartfelt appreciation goes to the local Mayor Mr. Dominic Grima, the Deputy Mayor and those Councillors who voted in favor of the Mayor’s proposal, to erect a monument to commemorate Mr. Bezzina’s lifelong dedication towards Maltese Football and the community of Paola, which he deeply loved.
