With a few days left for our important clash with Floriana F.C., 33 year old Spanish midfielder Alvaro Muñiz Cegarra spoke with HFC Media on the last match against Balzan and on the upcoming match with our main title rivals.
‘’Against Balzan we did a lot of things well. The only thing that was missing was that early goal,” Alvaro Said. “I think that with the result, justice was done late in the game”.
This Saturday, we come face to face against our main title rivals Floriana F.C., who are currently ahead of us by 1 point. In the first round the spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw.
“We have to continue in the same dynamic as the last games, as we are playing very good football. We only need the most important thing, to transform all the occasions that we generate into goals.” he said.
“The team is very positive mentally and we are confident that we can achieve a good result against Floriana.”
